Today we used up all our yummy ingredients and made pancakes. The Tuesday before Ash Wednesday is known as Shrove Tuesday. The idea is that we have one last yummy meal before we begin our Lenten period of fasting and praying.
The children did a great job mixing the ingredients, cooking the pancakes and of course eating them.
We have also loved spending time in the swimming pool. I have been so proud of all the children who have been working hard to float on their front and back. It is such a pleasure seeing children take a risk and give something new a go.
