Reminders:
- Library - we visit the library every Friday. Please make sure your child has their library books ready to return so they can issue new books for the weekend.
- Sausage sizzle and Juicies for sale every Friday - $1.50 for both.
- RE books - there are a few RE books that have not yet been returned to school, can you please return them ASAP. Thank you to those whānau members who took the time to have a look through the RE books. The children loved sharing their learning with you.
Our Learning:
This week in Kākano we have been enjoying our warm toast each morning. We have been talking about where our food comes from and how food is made. We were surprised to learn butter is made from cream and cream comes from cows.
After we found out this interesting information we decided we could make our own butter by pouring cream into the jar and shaking, shaking, shaking until the cream turned into butter. The butter we have made is so tasty on our fresh toast.
